America the Beautiful Quarters Release Dates

America the Beautiful Quarters will be released at a rate of five designs per year with a single design released for the final year of the series. The quarters are presented in the order first established as a national site. This has caused some jurisdictions featured in the final years of the previous State Quarters series to be featured in the early years of the America the Beautiful Quarters series, and vice versa.

The entire register of sites was released by the United States Mint on September 9, 2009.  At that point, the order of release for each of the fifty six planned quarters could be established based on the order that the sites were first federally designated.

Approximate release dates are available for the 2010 America the Beautiful Quarters featuring Hot Springs National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and Mount Hood National Forest. The first quarter will be released in April 2010, with the remaining coins following in roughly equal intervals, spaced throughout the remainder of the year.
